The application code of this website does not set cookies and does not include analytics, advertising or social-media tracking. This statement covers the website as currently built; hosting infrastructure is outside that code and has not been separately audited for cookies.

Browser storage

This website saves one language-preference entry only when you explicitly choose a language other than English. It contains a language code, not form entries or personal information, and is not sent to us. It does not expire automatically. There is no automatic cookie or storage pop-up.

• apgr-locale, holding a language code such as fr or ar, keeps your language when you move between pages or reload. Choosing English removes it.
• Use the inline language preference controls on this page to clear the saved preference and return to English.
• The old storage-notice preference is no longer used and is removed when the site loads. Other browser data is not changed.

Languages

Language versions are static files delivered with the website. Choosing a language does not send page content or anything you type in a form to any translation service. Versions other than English are drafts until reviewed by a native speaker with oil and gas trade experience, and the English version prevails.

Third parties and hosting

Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means Google receives your IP address and browser information when a page loads. Our hosting provider may keep technical records, such as IP addresses and request logs, to deliver and secure the site.

Changes

If cookies, analytics or other tracking technologies are introduced, this page must be updated to describe them before they are used, and optional technologies should not run without consent where consent is required.
