Anti-bribery principles

Our principles on bribery, corruption and improper payments. This page states principles; it does not describe audited internal procedures.

For all website visitors and business counterparties

Our position

AP Global Resources intends to conduct business honestly and in line with applicable anti-bribery and anti-corruption laws. Depending on the circumstances, these may include the US Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and the laws of other countries where we or our counterparties operate.

What is not acceptable

  • Offering, paying, requesting or accepting a bribe, directly or through a third party.
  • Facilitation payments to speed up routine official actions.
  • Undisclosed commissions, side payments or improper inducements linked to an allocation, cargo or contract.
  • Falsified records, invoices or documents.

Gifts, hospitality and intermediaries

Our principle is that gifts and hospitality should be modest, transparent, lawful and not connected to a pending decision. We expect agents, brokers and other intermediaries to meet the same standards, and payments to them should reflect legitimate, documented services.

Consequences

We may decline or end any discussion or relationship where there is a reasonable concern of bribery or corruption, and we may report matters to authorities where the law requires.

Raising a concern

For questions about this page, or to ask for the appropriate route to raise a concern, contact us by email at info@apglobalresources.com or see the Contact page. Please do not send identity documents, bank details, signed contracts or other confidential attachments by email or through this website; where documents are needed, a secure, separate channel will be agreed with you. The Careers form accepts an optional private PDF CV only.
