The GDPR and the DPA give individuals certain rights regarding their personal data, such as the right to access, rectify, and erase their personal data, the right to object to processing, and the right to data portability.

Businesses, organizations, and governments that process personal data are required to comply with the GDPR or the DPA, depending on their location and the location of the individuals whose personal data they are processing.
